, advertising Collier's 50th Annual All-America College Football Team!

rare
vintage football sign indeed...it measures approximately
24" x 19"
, and features football artwork by
Ronald McLeod
picturing a college football coach and one of his players whose sporting a leather football helmet from that era. The sign originally had an easel-back for a store counter display, but that's long gone (see photo). This awesome store display sign specifically advertises the December 16, 1939 issue of Collier's and says
"Now On Sale" ...
so, the sign must have originally been utilized for one week
only
. I'm sure there are not many of these signs that have survived, so please
don't miss this one!!

Condition:
as mentioned above, the easel-back is missing. My photos should show the age/handling faults, which includes varying degrees of paper peeling, corner wear, water stains, etc. Still, this Collier's magazine sign still
