photos, as they are an important part of my description. From a local estate, this thick cardboard sign (point-of-sale sign most likely hung in a sporting goods store back in the day!) measures approximately
14" x 11"
, and features the famous
D&M Sporting Goods
Lucky Dog
logo
. Christmas colors of green and red are utilized throughout, as a little boy and his dog are both kneeling and praying as the calendar reads
"Dec. 24"
....Christmas Eve! The angelic boy asks Santa:
"Please, Santa Claus - send me a baseball glove like Babe Ruth uses"
. Draper & Maynard's plea is to the boy's "Aunt" :
"Aunty -
NOW
are you going to give that kid a silk necktie?"
, with the
Draper & Maynard Lucky Dog
logo present below.
