Description

This tea cup was hand wheeled with coarse earthenware clay, fired with pine wood for 72 hours without putting on any glaze before firing.
The burnt ash formed beautiful patterns and glaze layers over the naked clay body. This type of clay can soften water.  Please note its texture is relatively rough.

I bought it from the artist's studio in Dehua, China. Never used.
