We are offering  this pair of Military pants worn by WILLIAM CONRAD. They were purchased directly from Western Costume Company. The pants are done in a red wool and have gold bullion stripes down each side seam. They are similar to breeches with the ties at the cuffs, however they are very long. The pants have a high waist line with a button fly, a hook and bar at the waist band and inside buttons around the waistband. There are no holes, tears or rips - they are in magnificent condition!
WILLIAM CONRAD'S career began in the 1940's and continued through the 1990's. He is as well known as a narrator as he is as a TV and movie star. WILLIAM CONRAD was seen in movies and tv shows such as 'CANNON' 'BARNABY JONES' 'IN LIKE FLYNN' 'MATLOCK' 'JAKE AND THE FATMAN' 'JOAN OF ARC' 'EAST SIDE, WEST SIDE' 'THE SWORD OF MONTE CRISTO' 'LONE STAR' 'THE DESERT SONG' 'THE CONQUEROR' 'JOHNNY CONCHO' 'BAT MASTERSON' 'HAVE GUN - WILL TRAVEL' and specials such as 'ROWAN AND MARTINS LAUGH IN' 'THE SONNY AND CHER COMEDY HOUR' 'THE DEAN MARTIN SHOW' 'THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW' '77 SUNSET STRIP' and many many others!
The pants were originally a size 43 waist x 30 1/2" length. They have been taken in to a size 35 waist but the material is still there at the center back seam and the side seams and could be let out to original.
