Warner Bros. Pictures Labeled Numbered Worn Dorothy Wooton Peplum Costume Jacket
This studio made costume was worn by Dorothy Wooton in the 1943 comedy musical film "Thank your lucky stars" which was very rare during this wartime era to have an African American dancer.
Many of Warner Brothers stars performed in musical numbers, including several who were not known as singers. The show features the only onscreen musical performances by Bette Davis, Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland and Ida Lupino.
The beige Peplum jacket has a black & white check pattern with ruffle trim. It has a full hook front closure and  padded bust inserts sewn in but can be removed.
