Rare and very interesting vintage Pirate Sword Machete Prop from Disney Studios.
Measures Approx 43” long.
Sword is well made, studio aged and distressed.
Blade and hilt are made of metal.
Grip is leather wrapped.
Comes directly from Walt Disney Studio Archives.
Sword still has Walt Disney Studios Props Department barcode on grip.
Overall very good condition. (See pics)
Comes with copy of Certificate of Authenticity.
Displays very well.
This vintage pirate sword was likely used in Disney theme park attractions including Pirate of the Caribbean and Skull Rock Cove.
The wardrobes and props on the animatronic figures on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride are changed out frequently. This is one of the nicer vintage prop swords from the Disney Studios archive that I have seen.
Items like this rarely come up for sale and are very hard to find.
