Rare and very interesting vintage Pirate Sword from Disney Studios.
Measures Approx 31” long.
Sword is well made, blade is made of resin with a metal core. The grip is made of wood and hilt is made of brass.
Comes directly from Walt Disney Studio Archives.
Sword still has Walt Disney Studios Props Department barcode on the base of the grip.
Overall very good condition. (See pics)
There is a slight bend to the blade, but it looks as though it was purposely made with this bend, likely to accommodate an animatronic figures motion.
Comes with copy of Certificate of Authenticity.
Displays very well.
This sword was likely used in Disney theme park attractions including Pirate of the Caribbean and Skull Rock Cove.
Items like this rarely come up for sale and are very hard to find.
