Rare and very interesting vintage Pirate Sword Machete Prop from Disney Studios.
Measures Approx 23.5” long.
Sword is well made, studio aged and distressed.
Blade is made of metal. Blade is stamped Legitimus Collins & Co Made in Colombia.
This is one of the better display swords I have had from Disney Studios archive.
Comes directly from Walt Disney Studio Archives.
Sword still has Walt Disney Studios Props Department barcode on the base of the blade.
Overall very good condition. (See pics)
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
Displays very well.
This vintage machete sword was likely used in Disney theme park attractions including Pirate of the Caribbean and Skull Rock Cove.
The wardrobes and props on the animatronic figures on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride are changed out frequently. This is one of the nicer vintage swords from the Disney Studios archive that I have seen.
Items like this rarely come up for sale and are very hard to find.
