Beautiful Vintage O'Brien Competition 66” Wood Slalom Water Ski & Original O’Brien Case...This has a Red Resin/Fiberglass Bottom.
Nearly 50 years old, this is truly a
rare find! It is
in amazing vintage condition, very clean, and well preserved!!  A gorgeous ski, pre-owned, showing very light signs of being handled, though I don't believe this was ever used? It shows no signs of use, all edges, top, and bottom, are in excellent condition. All of the polished aluminum trim is in excellent condition, including
the aluminum fin, there is no corrosion, or dings...The bottom is in beautiful condition, with only a few very light tiny marks...The graphics, and aluminum O'Brien plate on the back is excellent. The wood finish is beautiful, no fading, no separation or lifting. Only 1 mention...There is 1 tiny blemish on the outer edge on the front tip...Very small, approx. 1" long x 1/8" wide,only to the clear, no damage to the wood (see last photo). The bindings are in very good condition, still soft, no tears, or cracking, and no corrosion to the aluminum brackets...Only mention, is some discoloration to the yellow rubber on the front boot (photo #5). The case is also in very nice, clean vintage condition, with only a few small wear marks, otherwise very nice...Zipper works, fits ski perfectly, and has no fading, mold, or odors.
