OVERVIEW / CONDITION:
Original mid century modern design (Arabia style apple motif) adorns this 14" serving platter. Serving platter is Ironstone and was manufactured by Johnson Brothers under the Snowhite series. Various patterns were applied to these pieces but I could not find out what pattern this actually was. Pattern is from the 1960's I would say. Platter is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Some very slight tiny discolored spots to back and edge of plate as happens with Ironstone dinnerware. Awesome condition overall for its age. Click on photos to super-size them for maximum detail.
Approximate Measurement:
14 inches across and 10.5 inches tall (Oval in shape).
Markings:
Bottom: Snowhite, R Crown symbol 3, Johnson Bros, Made In England, Ironstone.
