When I was a contractor, I wasn't able to find a comfortable pair of knee-pads that can be worn all day long with shorts. All the knee-pads back then had elastic straps that would just dig in the back of my legs, that would pitch and cut off my blood. Then these original super soft knee pads came along and I was saved. I had damaged my knees on a job site working on hard steel for several days, and my knees couldn't take it anymore.'

I weigh about 180 Lbs, 5'10 and there on the large size for me, but I can see upgrading to these for a larger cushion.
