This is a fabulous Roman Centurion Guard's Helmet worn in
'THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD (1965)'
which starred
MAX VON SYDOW, JOHN WAYNE, CHARLTON HESTON, VAN HEFLIN, CLAUDE RAINS
and so many other we can't list them!
This helmet has been repainted for use in another Biblical / Roman movie but has not had any other changes done to it.  The pictures are the best description of condition. Keep in mind it is over 55 years old!
