he texan reloader was in it hay day in the 1960s and 1970s competing with mec for the shotshell reloading marketmec won out and texan went outta business. But there are still thousands of them out there still making quality shells50 to 60 years later. the weak point is the plastic powder and shot tubes. The quality of the plastic used is not on parwith today plastics. today the gun its self can be made of high grade plastic without a problem. wanting to keep my 3 texan shot shell presses cranking out shells as they have for decades.I have been making reproduction tubes that are super strong and crystal clear for the texanthey should fit most if not all presses to be sure measure your old tubes or the top of the funnel for size.If size is 2" to 2 1/8 OD: these will fit your press they are 1" shorter than the orginals not a problem texans run better when there not fill to the top with shot anyways
