This iconic surfing art by Scott Westmoreland is called "Starting Lineup." The new metal sign is a full color reproduction of an original painting
.
An award winning artist, Scott Westmoreland graduated from Cal State, Fullerton in 1991. He spent the first decade of his career as a designer and illustrator in the entertainment industry, creating original posters, programs, brochures and multi-use images for major theatrical productions. In 1996, Scott became a full-time Staff artist at Disney. He rejoined the freelance world in 2001 where and focused his efforts in the fine art arena. His surf, woodie car, tropical and pinup girl series have made him a recognizable name on the national art scene.
The artwork features seven colorful surfboards propped against against a dark brown wood plank fence. The blue sky is dotted with white fluffy clouds. Four swaying palm trees tower in the background. The artist's signature is on the right bottom corner.
This durable sign is 16" x 12 1/2" in size with die-cut holes in each corner for easy hanging. It can be used outside or indoors. These signs are great for decorating the bar, man cave, cabin, garage, camp, lodge, home, office, or dorm room.
