Here's a scarce Strengthena medicinal beef tonic jug from Chicago....

in bold black underglaze print on front of jug.....Thick heavy stoneware jug with applied handle....hollow pour spout lip with cork stopper....caramel color dipped shoulder....8"tall....Excellent shiny mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean jug with no stain. This jug contained a beef extract which was a medicinal tonic for imparting strength to the sick and invalids
