Shofu China Demitasse Teacup and Saucer

Description

Up for auction is this really nice example of Shofu China, made in occupied Japan. Cup measures approximately 1 7/8 inches in diameter and stands 2 inches high. The saucer has a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. Green band around the edges of the cup and saucer, with gold filigree work, then a pale yellow band that goes into white beneath a slim gold band around the cup and saucer. Orange medallion design on one side of the cup that has a gold surround. No chips or cracks or crazing. Great addition to any collection of items from that period.
Item comes from a smoke-free/pet free home.   Please note – I am not a professional dealer – just someone trying to keep the clutter in my house down to a minimum!  I have described item and its condition to the best of my abilities.     If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask prior to bidding.
