RUTH WARRICK WORN MOVIE COSTUME FROM THE 1950 PARAMOUNT MUSICAL FILM “LET’S DANCE”. STARRING BETTY HUTTON!, FRED ASTAIRE AND RUTH WARRICK. THE COSTUME WAS DESIGNED BY FAMOUS HOLLYWOOD COSTUME DESIGNER EDITH HEAD FOR THE FILM. THE COSTUME CONSISTS OF A CORAL CHIFFON DRESS WITH A FANCY IRIDESCENT JACKET OF CORAL, GREEN, BLACK AND GOLD. THE DESIGN DETAIL AND COLORS OF THIS COSTUME ARE SO UNIQUE. INSIDE THE DRESS IS THE ORIGINAL PARAMOUNT LABEL WITH HER NAME ALTHOUGH MISSPELLED AS RUTH WARWICK AND ALSO A PARAMOUNT STUDIOS LADIES WARDROBE STAMP. THE COSTUME IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION EXCEPT THE ZIPPER IN THE BACK OF THE DRESS IS BROKEN WHICH I PHOTOGRAPHED. I NEVER HAD THE ZIPPER REPLACED BECAUSE I COULD DISPLAY THE COSTUME WITH THE JACKET AND THE BACK OF THE DRESS IS NOT SEEN. THE ORIGINAL STILL FROM THE FILM SHOWING RUTH WARRICK WEARING THE COSTUME IS INCLUDED.
