    Description

    For sale is a tea cup and saucer set by Royal Dover decorated with gold trim and dark pink peonies against green foliage.
    The tea cup features a fluted body that tapers up towards the flared top the same ribbed detail is repeated subtly on the saucer.
    Gold trim is applied to the cup handle, top and bottom rim and the saucer has a gold outer rim
    . The approximate measurements are : Cup: 3 1/4" wide, 4 1/4" including handle, sits on a base 1 7/8" wide and stands 3" high; Saucer: 5 3/4" wide across top, sits on 2 3/4" base and is 1" high; Combined: 3 1/8" high.
    Both pieces are in very good condition having served as display items. There is no damage or wear. Graphics and gold trim are clean bright. The cup is stamped in blue with the number 15, the saucer has a blue number 3 and both are stamped gold with "January" (photograph 12) and the saucer is marked with two lines like the number 11 in gold. Both have Royal Windsor logo.
