    Description

RCBS Big Max A4 Super Heavy Duty Reloading Press with Standard Shell Holder; No.: 09146
This is the one and only Big Max single-stage reloading press manufactured by RCBS.  RCBS is one of the premiere names in reloading equipment for over 60 years and well known for their level of consistency in producing sturdy, accurate equipment.  Most reloaders will tell you that this is true especially for the equipment made just a few years ago.
If you want to own the biggest bad boy in the single stage reloading press world, this just might be it.
    The press alone
weighs more than a whopping 23 pounds!
This press has more strength inherent in its design than most any other out there.
This press will case form some of the largest calibers without batting an eyelash.
But what makes this press so ideal, is it comes factory set with the adapter for standard-sized shell holders (Lyman, Lee, Hornady, Redding, RCBS).
RCBS had another ram adapter on the Big Max that utilized a more problematic
    universal shell holder
that never really worked as well as RCBS intended.
It often left reloaders with a case stuck in the die and no easy way to pull it out.
But since this Big Max uses the standard shell holder common to virtually all modern single stage reloading presses, you just use the shell holder(s) you already have.
I am even throwing in a free standard RCBS Shell Holder No. 4 as seen in the photos.
    Plus, with this
unique RCBS design, the press is ambidextrous to enable a right or left-handed reloader to use it equally well.
This cast iron reloading press is in great condition with a few missing paint chips and some minor surface rust which is very common on used reloading equipment.
I know in some ways by mentioning this it sounds worse than it is, but I do not want to give the impression that this isn’t used.
But what I can say emphatically is that the press appears to operate smoothly and without any slop, which is a good indicator that it was not abused and was presumably well taken care of.
I believe in full disclosure and mention my observations for accuracy. Please check photos carefully, but I think you will find this piece is really in great condition.
Please see my other reloading equipment items that I have for sale.  I am always happy to combine shipping.  I do not charge anything additional as a "Handling Fee".  The shipping costs you see are what it costs me to send it to you.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.
