Rare WWII Fuerstenberg Porcelain Flag Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse Furstenberg

Description

For sale is a cup and saucermade by Fürstenberg just after WW2 with the flags of the countries thatdivided Germany up between themselves afterwards.
These were used by the Allied Coordinating Committee . These were a limited run porcelain service used by the Allies (USA, UK, France & USSR Russia) in occupied post World War II Germany. Both pieces are decoratedwith the flags of the four nations as well as a red trim around the rim. Thecup and saucer are in perfect condition. The cup is just over 2 inches tall andhas a diameter of 3.75 inches. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and has a diameterof 5.625 inches. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze blue F markwith Furstenberg Germany underneath and a crown above. Vintage 20thC 20th century
