Disneyland Theme Park Pirates of the Caribbean copper mug prop.
This prop comes directly from the personal collection of legendary Disney theme parks animatronics engineer John McAdams.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
It is a copper mug with a Mayan motif.
Weighs approximately 17 ounces and measures approximately 4 3/4” tall.
It was likely used by multiple animatronic characters over the years in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at the park, most notably the Pirate sleeping with pigs and also the pirate known as “Old Bill”, sometimes referred to as “Here Kitty, Kitty”, among others.
The props used by the Pirates in the attraction change from time to time and this copper mug is a classic prop and must’ve had special meaning to animatronics engineer John McAdams. He kept it with a few other select items from Pirates of the Caribbean in his private estate until the time of his passing.
Items like this rarely come up for sale and are very hard to find.
