    Hand painted in gold Ed Malin Bayfield, Wis. On the front.
    Loop handle, not marked by the maker.
    I don’t know if it’s Redwing or some other stoneware factory but it appears to date from the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. Could be a liquor promo item or sample jug. A couple of very small lip flakes but no other chips, cracks or stains. 6.5” tall and 4.5” in diameter.
