    Description

These costuming shirts have been inspected and are guaranteed to have been made for use, but ultimately unused, for the character of Nim (Abigail Breslin) during filming of the production Nim's Island (2008). Long sleeve shirt comes with a wardrobe tag that reads: "do not use no cuffs" and the white button up comes with a wardrobe tag that reads "too small do not use." The long sleeve stripped shirt has been identified to the scene where Nim is riding in the boat with her dad to go get supplies from the ship and the white button up shirt from when Nim is looking through her telescope at the Buccaneers.
Tagging and labels was very minimal on this production and a lot got mixed up in storage so verifying exact usage or non-usage of some wardrobe pieces especially for Nim is done to the best of our ability and utilizing production printed notes and costume lists we also obtained.
Acquired in a movie memorabilia assets buyout from one of the employees who works for Profiles in History who purchased them directly from the company. Prior to PIH's ownership of the assets, they were stored and managed by a company called Hollywood Parts. Both of these companies are very well-known and reputable in the business. I work for a performing theatre organization and I sell some of the acquired assets from time to time to raise funds for various theatre projects or to build towards a future museum exhibit of memorabilia.
These shirts come with a beautifully designed and embossed Certificate of Authenticity from the movie memorabilia assets management department of the Logos Theatre. An additional letter of authenticity can be included detailing how the theatre acquired a majority of their assets, which included these pieces. Please request if desired. Not included otherwise. (black stand seen displaying the COA not included).
If you have any questions about these items specifically feel free to inquire.
Please do not inquire about what else we have from other movies. We are a very busy theatrical operation and don't have time to process a lot of inquiries. We list items as we have time and need for funds. Feel free to bookmark our account and follow. Thank you!

    CONDITION
All our items have been well used in various movies therefore their condition is “used.” ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD “AS IS.” Many of our items have been fought with and intentionally distressed and dirtied to achieve the desired look or purpose during the filming of the movie. Some have broken bits or cracks or pealing paint due to both intentional and unintentional filming actions. Costumes will often have sweat stains, dirty spots, and fabric wear due to performing often long hours in the costume. Many of our items have also survived years of being transported all over the world and being stored in less than ideal conditions and thus have also sustained condition issues from all this. Movie used props and costumes are not supposed to look clean and pristine. If you are looking for that, buy a replica. If you want the real deal, battle used and actor action worn and that show the signs of it, then you have come to the right place!
There are often multiples of wardrobe and so you need to be ok with the fact that we will often sell more than one of a costuming piece.
