Available for purchase is a pair of RARE MORTON POTTERY YELLOW WARE SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS (or spice shakers), with the lovely Woodland brown & green glaze.  Made in the early 1900s by Morton Pottery in Illinois.
The sides of the shakers are fluted.  These are relatively larger shakers:  each measures about 5" tall and about 3" across at their widest point.  The unglazed bottoms are about 2" across.
One shaker has smaller holes; one has larger holes.  The cork stoppers appear to be replacements.
Both shakers are in very good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs. There is light age crazing on both shakers.
They retain a lovely shine.  Please examine photos carefully to assess condition.
