This is a pair of Wrist length Cotton blend gloves with Scalloped edges that were owned and Worn By Actress Marilyn Monroe. They are from the Personal Collection of Famed Hollywood Hair Stylist Sydney Guilaroff. These gloves are in Excellent condition for the age. Winner will receive a Personal letter on letterhead paper that is stamped, signed, and signed by Notary Public in 1994 stating how he came to own this item that belonged to Ms. Monroe. The pictures shown are most likely NOT the gloves i'm selling but just to show you that she wore gloves like this frequently.
Sydney Guilaroff was the movie and hair stylist to the stars and close personal friends with legends such as Crawford and Garbo.
My late son met and bought a number of items personally from Mr. Guilaroff's collection in the late 1970's and early 1980's before his death. I am selling all of my late son's collection to pay for his end of life/estate expenses. I am 93 years old and really don't know very much about this industry, other than what I have written here. I am not looking to get rich from his items just recoup his original investment.
