Marilyn Monroe Owned & Worn 1950's Black Velvet Cape from Sydney Guilaroff

This is a beautiful mid fifties Black Colored Velvet Cape W/Hood that was owned and Worn by Actress Marilyn Monroe. The cape is in beautiful condition and is lined in heavy white silk. It has no smell or damage. It is a one size fits all item and teh tip of the hood has rabbit fur trim.
Sydney Guilaroff designed hair for the movies and became best friends with huge stars from Greta Garbo to MM. Winner will receive a Personal letter on Sydney Guilaroff's letterhead paper stating how he knew Marilyn and came to own this Cape. It has been signed, stamped and Notarized dated in 1994.
My late son met and bought a number of items personally from Mr. Guilaroff's collection in the late 1980's and early 1990's before his death. I am selling all of my late son's collection to pay for his end of life/estate expenses. I am 93 years old and really don't know very much about this industry, other than what I have written here. I am not looking to get rich from his items just recoup his original investment.
