This is a nice Macomb Pottery Co 120 yr old quart fruit jarthat we show being dug in one of our "Digger Dave & Shovelin Shelley Beeler" YouTube digging videos.
A heavy stoneware fruit jar made at the Macomb Pottery in Macomb, IL in the 1890s....QUART size. It is embossed.

on deep sunken bottom .....thick heavy stoneware.....white Bristol glaze....brown threaded lip and top of shoulder .....round....quart.....5 1/2"tall......4 evenly spaced shallow faint grooves around bottom rim
. Excellent shiny nice condition with only a couple small shallow flakes on very bottom; no other damage. A nice clean jar. I cant remember now which video we show this jar being dug, as we've been doing so many digging videos........
