    Here's a fairly scarce Macomb Pottery Co 1899 dated quart fruit jar
    that has an unusual brown rounded shoulder.
    A heavy stoneware fruit jar made at the Macomb Pottery in Macomb, IL in the 1899 -early 1900 era... It is embossed.

    bold emb on flat bottom .....thick heavy stoneware.....white Bristol glaze....brown threaded lip and top of rounded shoulder .....round....quart.....6"tall......
    ATLAS emb on top of old zinc lid which fits snug....Good condition with only 4 chips on the outer edge of threaded lip (hidden by lid); no other damage except a small natural chip on bottom. A nice clean fruit jar with no stain........
