Mabandorf 1882 Germany Art Deco Demitasse Cup And Saucer Roses.
Beautiful Art Deco demitasse cup and saucer. The flat top cup and saucer are decorated in lush pink roses in dark and a lighter pink and green leaves. Trimmed in bright gold gilt painted as if outlining the petals of the roses. Marked on the reverse of both pieces  Mabendorf 1882 in black in an oval with a hand holding a sword, this china mark was used from 1929-1935. Displays beautifully.
Cup measures approx  2 1/4" in diameter, stands approx 1 1/4" tall.
Saucer measures approx 4 1/2" in diameter.
Excellent vintage condition to commensurate with age. No chips, cracks or gilt loss. One miniscule  brown dot inside the cup, probably happened in factory. Can be seen on several photos.
