Description

Production number and bias label identifies this as Lana Turner from Merry Widow (1952) but it is likely the costume may have been repurposed and reworked for another production.
A fellow collector sent me the image of Lana wearing a similar costume but I cannot guarantee that this costume is screen worn in that movie.
It is nevertheless a beautiful costume of buttery silk
satin which is identified as having been worn (or at the very least made for) superstar Lana Turner.
