Motor Speed Dial: Turn on the cooler and select your fan speed between Low, Medium, and High with the fan switch.
Pump: Switch the pump on to saturate the internal Xel50 Cooling Media.

Key Operational Points:
Pump must be primed per instructions prior to use. Your cooler must be positioned in front of an open window or door if it is to operate effectively. Always ensure that there is another open window or door through which the air can exhaust from the room. Ensure the filter is kept clean throughout the summer season. At the end of each day run your cooler on FAN ONLY for 30 minutes to dry out the filter Prior to putting your cooler away for winter, always:

Drain the tank and wipe out clean.

Clean the filter

Reassemble and run on FAN ONLY for 30 minutes to dry out the filter.
Assembly Required:
Hessaire Coolers are pre-assembled and ready to operate. Simply remove the packaging and then carefully remove the unit from the box. Install Casters. Lock the 2 locking wheels before filling and turning on fan to keep the cooler from moving from the air velocity. Wheels, casters and any other components for assembly are nested at the bottom of the unit.

Q:
Where are the wheels and castors that should come with this unit?
A:
They are in a nested compartment with a cover you need to remove on the bottom of the unit.
Q:
Why doesn’t it cool right away? I just plugged it in but it’s not cooling.
A:
You need to fill the water compartment to full to allow the water pump to prime. Once that happens, it will begin to cycle the water and within 15 minutes will be cooling efficiently.

Is this a portable A/C unit?
A:
No, this is an Evaporative Cooler that uses water and a fan to cool the ambient air. It’s also known as a portable ‘swamp’ cooler.
Q:
How many hours can this unit continuously cool after I fill the water reservoir?
A:
The MC37 can cool up to 4 hours on one tank full. I usually check my unit every hour to make sure I am good. If you just want to ‘set it and forget it’, you can hook up the unit to your garden hose and the float valve will keep the unit continuously filled.
