Today we are happy to offer for sale a rare Governor's Trophy Match National Guard medal badge stamping die!
This great obsolete badge stamping die medal was manufactured to be used by the United States National Guard Governor's Trophy Match; The Army-only medal was awarded to the winning team of the National Trophy Rifle Team Match. The heavy (over 13lbs) stamping die is solidly built and features the iconic design of a proud union soldier holding a rifle with half a laurel wreath on his side. The die has fine and crisp detailing. It is marked on the side A4396 HPN.
Die presents well and is in very good vintage condition, with minor wear, oxidation, and patina commensurate with age.
This rare and historic National Guard artifact will make an outstanding addition to any antique and vintage badge and die collection...Fresh to the market!
