Description
GENEVIEVE TOBIN MOVIE COSTUME WORN IN THE 1933 WARNER BROS. FILM “I LOVED A WOMAN”. THE COSTUME IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH GREAT DETAILING AND IS A VIVID BRIGHT RED COLOR WITH UNIQUE ACCENTS ON THE SKIRT. THE COSTUME HAS THE ORIGINAL WARNER BROS. LABEL WITH PRODUCTION NUMBER AND TOBIN 1905 WRITTEN ON THE LABEL IN FOUNTAIN PEN. THE NUMBER 526 IS THE WARNER BROS. PRODUCTION NUMBER FOR THE FILM I LOVED A WOMEN. THIS COSTUME HAS PROBABLY BEEN WORN IN OTHER WARNER BROS. FILMS OVER THE YEARS. I HAVE INCLUDED A COUPLE OF SCREEN CAPTURES FROM THE FILM SHOWING GENEVIEVE TOBIN WEARING THE COSTUME. UNFORTUNATELY THE FILM IS FROM 1933 AND WAS FILMED IN BLACK AND WHITE SO YOU CAN’T SEE THE VIVID RED COLOR IN THE SCREEN CAPTURES.
