Brian Keith’s Outfit from the Mountain Man
Brian Keith’s “Authentic Fringed Buckskin outfit” from the 1980 Mountain Man movie. Brian Keith wore this large size 3/4 length fringed leather trapper shirt and pants.  Written in the shirt in ink is “Brian Keith Change #2 and shirt #3”.  Fringed buckskin pants were also worn by John Payne in Santa Fe Passage (1955). Various studio rental marks inside, including an early Nudies (bare-breasted) label.
The shirt is heavily fringed and the open sides are held closed by a hide strip fastened on each side to be tied together.
Clothing is in fine condition. I am including the Mountain Man movie in VHS format; two descriptive pages that accompanied the outfit when I purchased it; & a Hard back book written by his wife, Victoria Y. Keith, “Goodbye, Lambchops and Plumpudding, Brian Keith and Daisy Keith.”
