    Description

FACTORY FRESH -  The Restore Car Magazine, Vol. 39, NO. 1 1994, MAY/JUNE
On February 6, 1994, the Sagebrush Chapter of MAFCA posed for photos under the vintage Reno arch that dates to 1926. The arch was re-erected for a movie being filmed in Reno. The vintage arch was originally built in 1926 to commemorate America's first coast to-coast auto road, the Lincoln Highway, which ran from Times Square in New York City to San Francisco, passing through Reno. In 1929 the "Biggest Little City" slogan was added. This photo "op" was hurriedly put together when Chapter President Ivan Sergei learned the film crew was going remove the arch the next day.
