This unit consists of one black vertical column mounted to the side of an interior door frame with the reflectors mounted on the other side.  The tailgate interior components are concealed by a black Plexiglas cover.  The tailgate is equipped with an internal piezo sounder that buzzes when the unit is alarmed.  This unit also has a secure / free entry key switch at the top of the left hand column. This product normally came with the reflectors in a matching cover, but that is not supplied here, only the reflectors.
This unique and cost-effective optical security system, which uses infrared sensor beams to detect tailgating, is perfectly suited for areas requiring tighter security, easily configured with card swipe, buzzers, or biometrics, including: Staff entrance/exit doors R&D rooms Areas containing confidential files Equipment rooms Pharmaceutical storage areas Recreation facilities Living quarters Compatible with most card reader technologies and access control systems, ES520 ensures that only one individual enters through a secured doorway for each authorized card read, valid PIN code, remote door release, etc. Its subtle design does not distract from interior aesthetics and it mounts easily on standard door frames.
