  • Model: Allure
  • Condition: Please see listing photos, and Item Description for condition. The ski has been stored inside, and handled carefully, its whole life. The bottom surface is in excellent condition. This is a used ski, but is in very good condition for its age. Please note: The ski came with a smoke colored translucent plastic cover that fit over the fin fastener fittings on the deck of the ski, and this cover cracked while the ski was stored, and has come off - it was not damaged during use. (The exact same thing, in the same location, happened to our other ski of the same make, series, and model year, so we've concluded the plastic part had a weakness in that location and became brittle). Please see last two listing photos - they show the plastic cover in place, but this is for illustration purposes only, because the set screw which holds it in place, was held in the rear part of it, which is the part that broke off. All pieces of this cover are still in our possession, and will be included.

    Description

1992 Connelly Signature Series slalom water ski.  66" (165cm) "Allure" model, being sold by the original owner.    This ski is fitted with front and rear non-adjustable, size S, low wrap bindings.  (The skier they were sized for has size 7-1/2 to 8 feet).     The fin is multi-directionally adjustable, and can be changed out.
Connelly designed and marketed this ski for women.  In the sales literature, Connelly recommends this ski for the lower intermediate to full advanced skill levels, and this size for a weight range of 120 to 160 lbs.  Please note that as the ski is fitted with both front and rear low wrap bindings, it is better suited to more advanced skiers.
    Connelly describes this ski as:
... The Inside Radius Sidecut for acceleration, a Narrow Tunnel for tracking, and a Wingtail for quick edging and turning.  The flex in the mid and tail are calculated for a woman's weight and pressure. So you needn't apply a lot of force to ski with a lot of force...
Please see listing photos for condition.   This is a used ski, but is in very good condition for its age. It has been stored for several years since it was last used. The binding material is intact, but
it is the buyers responsibility to assure that the binding material is still in good enough condition to continue to be skied, or if it needs to be replaced.
(All parts of a waterski should be inspected for condition and safety before every use).
The ski has been stored inside, and handled carefully, its entire life.
The bottom surface is in excellent condition.  Please note: The ski came with a smoke colored translucent plastic cover that fit over the fin fastener fittings on the deck of the ski, and this cover has cracked at some time while the ski was stored, and has come off - it was not damaged during use.  (The exact same thing, in the same location, happened to our other ski of the same make, series, and model year, so we've concluded the plastic part had a weakness in that location).   Please see last two listing photos - they show the plastic cover in place, but this is for illustration purposes only, because the set screw which holds the plastic cover in place, was held in the rear part of it, which is the part that broke off.  The cover will not stay in place now.  All pieces of this cover are still in our possession, and will be included.
This ski is being sold for local pick-up only, (in Murrieta, CA).  We can not ship it.
