For sale is a brand new nostalgic vintage metal sign of Breckenridge Colorado 1901 Wintersports Competition. This is a reproduction of a poster from the 1901 event.
These signs are great for decorating the ski lodge, garage, shop, bar, man cave, home, office, or dorm room.
The sign features an illustration in primarily black and white with touches of color. Two women are skiing in tandem wearing knee length skirts, white sweaters and hats. In the background is a wooded trail edge of evergreens. The words "Breckenridge Colorado" is across the top in white on a black background. Below reads: "2nd Annual Competition, 1901, March 6th."
This durable sign is 36" x 24" in size with rolled edges and reinforced die-cut holes in each corner for easy hanging. It is hand made in the USA from heavy-gauge American steel by Vintage Sign Company. They use a process known as sublimation, where the image is baked into a powder coating for a durable and long lasting finish.
The manufacturer performs a vintaging process by hand to give it signs of age, wear, scratches, stains and rust. It creates a more retro and nostalgic look and feel. Since they are antiqued by hand, each sign is unique and may not match exactly the one pictured.
