Shipping is .59 via USPS. I ship to the 48 contiguous USA states only. I’m very sorry but no exceptions. I mostly ship the next business day or two following payment.
Here’s a terrific old NUTMEG with an unidentified stamped design. Spices and canisters with this design and quite scarce and hard to come by. I am unable to find this design in any of my stoneware references. however, it is unquestionably a product of Brush-McCoy or A.E. Hull potteries in the first third or so of the 1900's..
The jar stands a full 3 inches tall and is absolutely in factory made mint condition. I find no post production issues at all, no lines, cracks, chips, nips, crazing and no repairs. The lid is mostly in similar condition, however, at some point in its history the lid experienced a very clean break resulting in nearly two identical halves which have been glued back together. But it is a lid and it is the correct lid and it fits superbly!
The embossed swirl designs on the lid and bottom of the jar are strong and distinct. The NUTMEG and decorative design stamps on the jar are clear, strong, bright and not smeared or streaked in any way.
It has only the single lid issue. I’ve provided photos of the jar and lid so please examine them carefully to view condition. Please do ask any questions, I’ll be very pleased to respond right away.
This piece is every bit as lovely and functional as the day it was made and it really displays quite well! Overall this lovely piece is a true and for certain testimony to the artists skill and talent! It would be an excellent addition to any collection of quality stoneware, or country theme home or antique shop; it’s really a very nice piece.
Please ask any questions before you bid as this auction is final unless grossly misrepresented. Contacting the shipper for any damage that may be incurred during shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.
Thanks for looking and have fun bidding.
Best cheers, Steve The Mighty, Son Of Stoney The Magnificent
