This is a very nice condition pair of costume gold metal clip-on door knocker style earrings that were owned & worn By Legendary Actress Ava Gardner. They are in very good condition for the age.
They are from the Personal collection of late Hair stylist to the stars and personal friend of Ava's Sydney Guilaroff. He is best known for all the hair styles he created at mgm studios from the 1930's to the 1980's. The winner of this item will receive a letter on his letterhead stamped,  signed and notarized telling how he worked in the industry and met and became close friends with Ava who gave him these earrings to add to his collection. The letter is dated in 1994
