Antique Vintage Spongeware Serving Bowl With Gold Embellishments. Condition is good. Glaze shows crazing all over, commensurate with age. There are 3 small round glaze imperfections in the interior bottom of the bowl. Each measure leas than 1/4 inch. I believe these have to do with the way it was made. There is a small chip in the bottom measuring about 3/8 of an inch. All defects can be seen in the pictures. The glaze is a light yellow with blue sponging. The rim and the decorative handles feature a hint of gold trim work. No makers marks. Bowl stands 3.25 inches tall and measures 8.75 inches across.
