Antique Unusual Winchell & Davis Albany NY Stoneware Jug w Bristol Glaze

Description

An original unusual antique stoneware jug of small size 7" tall which is marked below the glaze Winchell & Davis / Albany NY. The jug is very unusual in that it has a bristol type of glaze and while I have seen many Winchell & Davis stoneware jugs I have never previously seen one of these. The lettering is quite weak and as such not many may have been produced. The jug is in excellent undamaged all original condition and is fresh to the market from a old estate.
