Description

Rare antique marked H in a circle Hull salt box. This yellow ware stoneware piece is vertically ribbed with embossed ribs and accented with wide blue slip band with a narrow band aboce and below it. These bands are near the top rim. This comes with its original wood lid with a gorgeous turned wood handle. The lid does have a spoon notch cut out of it, but it has a warm glowing patina.. Some age related glaze crazing, but this stunning piece is in very good condition. Measures 6" tall at the back end, 4" tall front end. 4 1/2" in diameter. There is a hole in the back at the high end for hanging on the wall. Don't miss your opportunity to snag this seldom seen piece.
