    Description

    For sale is a superb scenic pither made in Kutani Japan. It is hand painted with a very detailed landscape scene in Mount Fuji and has a orange ground color to fill in the other areas and some very nice raised gold trim. The handle shape is nice as well. The pitcher is in perfect condition with no cracks chips or crazing, except some black dots from firing which is quite common during the period it was made. There is a little impurity to the paste on the bottom inside of the pitcher from the making. The pitcher is 7 inches tall from bottom to spout and 7 inches wide from spout to handle.
