    Description

    A great Antique 19th C. Redware Manganese Brown Sponge Decorated Glazed Small Dish or Plate.  Overall Excellent Condition showing it's age with surface wear from use, a smooth surface chip at the outer rim, just to the side of this a short 100% secure hairline, the plate rings true when you tap it,  a few areas of glaze loss from flaking at the top rim, no other chips, cracks, or repairs.  You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the overall excellent condition.  Measuring 7 3/4" in diameter x 1 7/8" tall x 4" at the slightly rounded base weighing 1lb 4oz the plate features great hand decorated sponge manganese, a great clear lead glaze and dark orange redware background, slightly notched outer rim.  A great 19th C Redware Plate Small Size we believe a New England piece, a great addition to anyone's collection or home.  Any questions please email.  We will ship via USPS and will insure.  Best of luck and thanks.
