    Description

    For sale is
    an early cup made by Worcester around 1760. It is nicely hand painted with two superb polychrome bird scenes as well as lots and lots of bugs with one in the bottom inside of the cup. The quality of the painting is top notch and the cartouches are surrounded with some nice gilding and the spaces in between are filled with their famous blue scale ground design. The cup is in perfect condition with just some very minimal wear and a few minor firing spots and some kiln dust to the underside. The cup is just over 1.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 3.25 inches. It is marked with their square fret mark underneath in under glaze blue as shown. 18th century Porzellan Tasse English England
