3 Meiko Hand Painted Pastel Cups & Saucers circa 1940
Offered for sale is a set of three hand painted pastel cup and saucer sets.
Each has a different flower pattern and pastel color.
The cups are iridescent on the inside.
They are also translucent.
I have included a picture where you can see the pattern outside of the cup as viewed from the inside.
The mark on the bottom reads:
Meito China
Hand Painted
Made in Japan
The cup is approximately 2 1/4" high.
At the widest part of the bowl, it measures approximately 3 1/4" across tapering to 2 3/4" at the top.
Measuring to the end of the handle, the cups are 3 3/4" across.
The saucers are 6 5/8" in diameter.
Excellent condition.
This is a lovely set to add to any collection.
