Vehicle Details
I have for sale a very rare and hard-to-find Harley Davidson motorcycle. There were only about 500 of these bikes made after HD purchased the Armstrong company. I will leave it to prospective buyers to do their own research on this model rather than writing a full history here. Also, chances are if you’ve read this far, you already know about these bikes. This particular bike is a 2000 model year. It has an electric starter and can be kick started. It has a horn and is a street legal bike. I’ve owned it for about three years. It has spent most of its life sitting in storage, as the low mileage indicates. I started working on it this summer to get it running. I installed a new battery, changed the oil and spark plug, cleaned the carb, replaced the fuel tank valve, replaced the clutch cover (existing one was cracked and leaking), replaced the clutch cable, timing belt and idlers. All parts used were obtained from Force Motorcycles and I can show receipts. Bike starts easily and runs through all five gears with no issues. Carb float valve is sticky and overfills sometimes. Carb should probably be rebuilt soon, but I did replace the bowl gasket when cleaning it. Seems to be a nice solid bike. Will include factory shop manual and extra timing belt. Headlight, taillight and turn signals work. Please ask questions before bidding.

I am able to store the bike for a short time if the buyer needs to arrange shipping. However, I would prefer to not store the bike more than two weeks after the sale is completed and all funds have cleared and settled. I will do my best to work with whatever shipping agent is selected.
