Description
It took some digging and I found that these candlesticks came from a glass company called New Martinsville Glass which was started in 1901 in West Virginia. The company was renowned for the use of color in their glassware but these were before color and are crystal clear! New Martinsville initially made tableware but quickly expanded into vanities, bare ware, lamps, and more.
They promoted liquor sets even through prohibition. The company was renamed Viking Glass in 1944. These were pre 1944. There is not this pattern or shape listed for Viking glass. So these sticks are at least 77 years old and I would date them earlier as they are tableware and clear. Viking glass eventually would become Rainbow Glass and today sells glass sheets in any colors for stained glass and fused glass enthusiasts.
Look how these sticks shine! Look how thick the bases are! Look at how elegant they are without any etchings or dangles or distractions! Even though they may be close to 100 years old, they are still so classic in design that they could be used in almost any design from classic to art deco to modern.
This pair is from an upscale house that was downsizing! They were part of an exquisite collection of fine china. Again, they will go with just about any decor - from elegant to simplistic.
The 3 light Glass Candle Holders are thick and heavy. They have excellent shine and a great ring when pinged with your finger. That's what makes me think they are lead crystal. AND they have no markings. You have to know the manufacturer! Each measures 6 3/4" in height and 13" in length. Condition is EXCELLENT! Weight is 5 pounds 5.1 ounces. I add a little over a pound for packing materials when I estimate shipping charges. I pack with GREAT care!

Unfortunately more and more bidders are deciding NOT to pay for an item once they bid on and win it. I have a zero tolerance for this kind of activity on eBay and it will result in a non-paying bidder case being opened with eBay. Due to this rapidly growing problem payment is now due within 3 days of an auction ending.
I hope all of the honest bidders out there can understand and please realize that these changes aren’t caused by you. Thanks to all of you eBay bidders who pay quickly, communicate, and make buying & selling a pleasure on eBay. You are sincerely appreciated.
I appreciated feedback. It's a good way of knowing that you received your item and are happy with it.
