1942 Harley Davidson XA and treasure trove of NEW OEM parts
I am very reluctantly selling my treasured 1942 Harley Davidson XA project and a hoard of OEM parts & tools specifically for the XA.
If you are reading this, you already know what an XA is. This was on of those only 1000 produced that withstood the test of time. I bought this from the grandson of the Bill Kennedy - the first HD dealer in the Phoenix, Arizona area. (His copper business card is included in the sale).
The project is complete and the previous owner even rattle canned the tins and tanks (WHY???!!!) and started the re-chroming process on many parts.
The frame is straight, the engine is complete and still makes tons of compression. The wheels are still true and much of the period paint is still on the bike. Comes with the original XA mufflers as well as some period correct pipes. The dealership civilianized the bike with all original 1942 jewelry - look at the Cat-Eye dash - absolutely gorgeous.
Worried about the engine? Don't be, because if there are any components that need replacing, there is no need for hours of internet searching for parts made from unobtanium. In addition to the complete engine in the rolling chassis, here is a short list of new OEM parts:

and was only mocked up for the pictures.
Everything you see if everything you get - all packed neatly as you see in the last picture - which also shows how much room you (or your shipper) are going to need.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who can do the labor, as you wont need to find parts! Plenty of meat on the bone at this price point.
